If you suffer from asthma then you know what it is like to be bombarded with all sorts of medications, inhalers and nebulizer treatments. Asthma is a debilitating chronic condition that takes away your right to breathe and live the life you want to live. When you decide to go the natural route on easing or overcoming your asthma symptoms, make sure to do your research on whatever product or dietary supplement you may be looking to take. Read labels carefully and then call your doctor and have him advise you on what they are and what they can really do for you and your asthma symptoms.
Doctors unfortunately prescribe a variety of prescription drugs to try to get control of your asthma symptoms but that is where the trouble really is. Do you just want to control your symptoms? The root of what causes asthma is still a mystery to most people. There are many theories as to why so many people contract asthma every year and why it really targets young children. Some say it is hereditary and some say it is just blind luck that you end up with it. Some theories say that it is our environmental pollution that travels around our earth in the air, in our food and in our water supply. Our bodies are in a constant battle with pollution. It comes at us from so many different directions.
Here are some natural ideas that can help you ease your asthma with natural ways so you can avoid the harmful side effects of prescription drugs and the toxic burden that they leave behind in your body. Adding lemon juice to your water or other juices you love has shown to help you breathe a little easier. Honey has also been shown to have an effect on your breathing when you add it to hot drinks or just have a nice piece of toast with honey on it. Honey has been shown to help eliminate phlegm which in some cases of asthma, fills your bronchial tubes and makes it harder for you to breathe properly.
There is a lot of research out there that you can look at and study to decide if it sounds like something that would work for you. All natural products can sometimes take a little longer to ease your asthma symptoms as compared to the quick work of an inhaler but the worry of the drug side effects may be worth the wait for natural products to kick in. My son suffered from Asthma at the age of 4 years old. He would have such severe asthma attacks that his inhaler sometimes wouldn’t be enough and he would cling to his moms shirt pulling down on it wanting more medication, which we couldn’t do because he had his proper dose already and giving extra was not something we were prepared to risk.
There are many natural ways out there that could give comfort and control over your symptoms. There are also all natural tools in this world that I believe can do more than just control asthma symptoms. Our bodies were designed to overcome many different types of diseases and illnesses on its own. Providing you give your body the right tools to do the job. It is my belief that asthma is caused by the pollution that we daily dump on the ground everyday to contaminate our water supply. We put it in the air from factories and industrial companies. These factories are creating different types of chemicals for cleaning that can be found in most people’s homes. We spray it on our foods to keep the bugs from landing on it and eating it. The consequences of what we are doing to our planet are now showing up in our health. Learn more about what we have done and what you can do to protect yourself and overcome many health challenges like asthma. My son did.
